If your grinder doesn\u2019t turn on or doesn\u2019t chop up any bottles, then you\u2019re experiencing total functional failure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, if the grinder runs but can only handle 50 bottles an hour, then you have a partial functional failure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What could be slowing down or stopping the grinder? There are a lot of factors:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You might need to grease or replace your bearings that make the grinder spin and cut up plastic.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You may need to sharpen or replace the teeth of the grinder, as they wear down over time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensure that there is nothing stuck between the teeth of the plastic grinder. This will either slow down or stop the operation altogether.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most grinders use an electric motor to drive the movement.
