What is SOC 2 compliance? <\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

SOC 2 is an industry-recognized standard developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) to assess how organizations manage and protect customer data, ensuring they meet stringent criteria in the areas of security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

While there are two types of SOC 2 reports\u2014Type I and Type II\u2014the latter is a more rigorous assessment.
